At FMC, the Kid's Ministry exist to partner with parents to teach children the all encompassing love of God and to enable them to know his love personally and share His love with others.
We have several ministry offerings such as Sunday School, Children's Church, Children's Choir and small group Bible Studies that are a fun time to learn about God's love!

Anchored student Ministry (youth)
Anchored Student Ministries is a place where students grades 7th – 12th are encouraged to take up the mantle of their faith in new and exciting ways. Our name is based on Hebrews 6:19 " We have this hope, a sure and steadfast anchor of the soul, a hope that enters the inner shrine behind the curtain". We know that these years are crucial in the spiritual development of our students and offer them a place to grow in their faith through worship, study, community, and conversation.

FMC is a place where you will be welcomed wherever you find yourself on your spiritual journey. If you have questions and doubts you can’t express in most churches or if you have a desire to grow deeper in your relationship with Jesus, we have a place for you!
Our senior adult group is called Adult Fellowship. We meet on the first Tuesday of each month (September - May) at 11:30 a.m. We have a meal and a program, and we rotate the meeting location between the Family Life Center on our campus and restaurants in the community. We also take several day trips throughout the year, and we have a mission to our nursing homes of making placemats for holidays throughout the year as well. -
god's closet
God's Closet is an outreach ministry of Philly Methodist Church. Together with other area churches, this ministry provides uniforms, clothing, and some school supplies at no cost to area children in Philadelphia and Neshoba County. We collect and sort clothing on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9-noon, and distribute the clothing each Saturday July-April from 9-noon.

weekday children's ministry
Weekday Children's Ministry is a ministry of FMC. WDCM provides a nurturing, safe environment in which children feel loved, respected and valued while they are encouraged to develop to their fullest potential socially, emotionally, mentally, physically and spiritually. Children of all faiths and nationalities are welcome. We have special programs which the children conduct throughout the year, and senior pastor leads a chapel service for the 3 and 4 year old classes each Wednesday.

LIFE groups
As important as our corporate worship is together on Sunday morning, we grow in faith best when we join with others to study the Bible, learn what it means to follow Jesus in our daily living, and have support and encouragement in that journey.
At Philly First, we offer a variety of groups on Sunday morning and Wednesday nights. We have five small groups which meet on Sunday morning during the traditional Sunday School hour of 9:00 a.m. Most of these groups have a designated teacher and standard curriculum, though one of our groups uses more video-based studies, and they study a wide range of topics from a biblical perspective.
Wednesday NIght Live! (WNL!) begins on Wednesday nights with a meal served from 5:15 p.m in the Family Life Center, which is connected to the main church building by a breezeway and is accessible from the main church parking lot. We have children and youth groups which meet on Wednesday nights, and offer several adult life groups.
